I don't know much about her. I'm curious if that's her hitboxes that are the issue or something. I've always been able to hit IG pretty easy, and sure as hell get hit easy as IG. Maybe because he's so big, it's easier to tell when the hitbox on the move isn't working, but on smaller characters it's harder to notice because you're trying to hit a smaller target anyway

Might want to try going into the lab and testing those moves out, try different characters against IG in the lab too. Could be IG's hurtbox but I've never run into that issue myself as the characters I play

I have a few suggestions.

• Please add some form of “Chainlink” Icon, for players who are in a party. This allows people to know if people either are just good, or are in a party.

• (This is a stretch, but) Maybe voice chat in-game someday? Not sure if it would be anytime soon, but I don’t have any form of Discord except on my Phone. (Which is where I’m texting from!)

• Please add cosmetics into The Lab. I wanted to test my KO effects, but I can’t unless I actually get one. Which even then is usually cut off by the camera.

• Can you allow us to change the size of the “Wifi” icon? I haven’t noticed I was on really bad ping until halfway through the match.

• Maybe adding a number with the “I dodge, you dodge, We dodge” perk when you dodge? Same should apply for other abilities. This allows me to know when I’ve lowered my cool-down for example.

Overall, I love this game, and I’m happy to see it grow. These are just my suggestions. So if you have feedback, or want to add on, it’s fine if you do.

Been playing Garnet pretty much nonstop for a few days and I think her down air needs a change somehow. It feels super inconsistent. I'm not sure if it's because of the charge or not, but it feels really awful to use and I'm never sure if I'm going to hit someone with it.

Velma is super uninteractive to fight against. She has way too many tools that give her a lot of reward with no risk from extremely far away and good normals to boot for when you do catch her plus she's really heavy. This was already a problem, but the addition of a new gigantic stage really exacerbates this issue. I'm not complaining and saying she's OP or anything, she's just very unfun to deal with. I think a good redesign for her would involve toning down the range on her word beam (idk the name) and tone down the tracking on word bubbles since these moves are super oppressive at max range on any stage, they should be restrained a bit so she has to close the gap a bit, putting her in a little more risk. In exchange her boxing tools could be a little less committal so she's encouraged to fight up close when need be instead of 100% of the time run to corner.

ok basically what i mean is a way to save a loadout of perks and then if you want to use the same loadout in the future you just click on whatever you named it and boom you instantly equip all of those perks.

You could do all sorts of things like make different loadouts for

1v1s and 2v2s

or maybe even make a loadout against certain classes or character specific loadouts for example a loadout to counter Mages or one to use against iron giant if you are that dedicated

If you wanted you could even show recommended loadouts based on character

It would be cool to have skins to represent characters that are basically copies of other characters even if they are outside their series, fit with a new name inplace of the usual characters name on the scoreboard/selection screen/versus screen,

Homelander/Omniman = Superman (yeah omniman doesnt have laser vision but you gotta give a bit of leinency)
Demantoid (with limb enhancers)/Pyrope/Hessonite (basically the only other garnet gems we know of) = Garnet
Michael Jordan = Lebron (while lebron is a bit more bulky and taller than micheal, they have a very similar body type, plus its the space jam 1 protag)
Doc Brown = Rick (ability wise, would not make a lick of sense at all but it would be hella cool to have doc brown)

marty would not work as a morty skin since it would look all kinds of off, doc and rick both look like a frail old man, marty is nearly as tall as doc, while morty is at stomach height with rick

These skins don't have to 1:1 have the same abilities since they are still skins, just unique lines and a unique model. Plus it lets you push the 2k legendary skins that cost 20 dollars with a purpose.

new rick and morty stage is cool, but I think the destructible platforms are lame as hell. Batcave has this same issue, its an interesting stage loadout at the start but as soon as you destroy the platforms its just a single flat platform and at that point there are way too many similar stages. Would be MUCH better if the platforms regenerated over time or if there was an option to make it so they couldn't break at all.

thats what the nut ability is for, if you press the special on the ground without moving, he summons them around him and he is seemingly immune to knockback, also he's the beyond heaviest character. the main thing about him that needs a fix is either his size, the ability to pick a character AFTER seeing the map, or removal of tree fort and especially scooby doo mansion, he is extremely underpowered on those maps and is unable to use a decent portion of his kit effectively

Me and a few friends got to an agreement that the score system is pretty annoying, I mean like, brawlhalla has a score based on lives. Like in the duo mode when both players got 4 lives, in multiversus context the players could have 2 lives each, so if you end up with a bad teammate you can still stand a chance.
As though the current score could be optional.

Local Play issues: THE UI IS HORRENDOUS! can’t switch teams unless one player logs out then then you have to login in order to be on the same team as you’re team mate. Perks are constantly resetting and having to always pickers after every game is annoying. The highlight select button is so small when picking perks u have to look closely to see what you’re highlighted. Plz add an instant rematch button after games so u don’t consistently go back to the menu after every game. Add team attack plz as a feature.

Servers are having massive lag issues on your end. Not only am I, but my friends as well are experiencing massive game breaking issues midgame off and on, but more often then it should. We run everyone of our games at 40 ping even this game, but it still shows 1 out of 3 bars on the connection symbol at the top right of the in game screen and it shows in the gameplay. The game server lag spike so much that randomly my friends and I will have things happen such as: randomly teleporting to a spot we weren't originally fighting, die instant at a part of the map we weren't originally at, and sometime have out other teammates run of the map cause by you server connection issuses. Please have an update come out to fix these server issues you guys are having and fast because it is starting to make us hate the game because of it. Thank you in advance.

Over all the recent patch has been good. But over all I feel all the Characters are far too under weighted and far to easily knocked by below 100 damage. There should be a minimum of 120-150 damage across the assassins/mage/support classes for a definite knock out. Tanks should be able to hold on till about 180-220 damage and for bruiser at least 160-180 damage this would be a more balanced way for the game to be played out since it allows for a lot more playout of each match yes it draws them out more but also will change the way players approach a match in a more tactical fashion.

Had my friend over to try out Local Play. It sucks that I can't play with them against bots like I expected I'd be able to. I can understand why they're not available just yet offline since y'all are probably still tweaking them, but it was disappointing nonetheless. If this weren't beta, I'd envision us going from them playing thru the tutorial -> we team vs bots -> we queue up for 2v2s online from the one PC

man I know Arya is labeled expert but I don't see what makes her any good... she combos well I guess, if you can get in somehow.... between just about every fighter outranging her and for some reason she has the slowest attack starts... Tried Local Play on Xbox and the login flow requires logging into a real account for each controller.

And the game doesn’t even display the usernames of the accounts just Player 1-4.

Guest accounts are also ignored and don’t work. Would really appreciate if this flow did not require logging into real accounts because we killed a good 15 minutes as my friends slowly logged into their accounts to make this work. Other local multiplayer games on Xbox don’t require this.

After lil bit of time with Lebron, first impressions:

  • Highly focused on 2v2, but the main issue is that the Ball thing requires a team mate, don't bother with randoms, have a partner that KNOWS how to throw the ball back at ya. Additionally certain stages are just VERY bad for him due to all the platforms in there, you can guess just by that WHICH are a pain to play around.
  • Air Down Tilt (ball) needs some hitbox adjustments, the only way i found to make it "Stable" is to Dive down slightly after pressing down tilt, in that way it's more acceptable.
  • Up Tilt / Ground Up Tilt (ball) ... both of them feel off cause they don't exactly hit above him, they do but move him slightly forward, so there's a lot of times that you'll be off shooting due to you moving around like a monkey.
  • Forward Special / Air Forward Special (Ball) ... this move is good or bad depending on how it feels. The effect is good, it's essentially a big ass up spike, the ISSUE is that will stop out right when coming in contact with someone, so there's a high chance of this move being interrupted. Which is ironic cause Iron G has the same move (ButtSlam), but his IMMEDIATELY causes hitstun (even post nerf) unless there's an anti air from below and you can even hitconfirm it for a combo.
    The Worst case scenario is that sometimes if you are really unlucky, the slam connects with someone on the ground - the ball pops but the attack doesn't even come out because it was negated from a simple attack swinging in that direction (That's how much time people have RIGHT AFTER you touch someone)... so i guess they want you to hit em from the side with shockwave ? Isn't the most hype part of the slam dunk.. the slam itself ? xD

Without his ball i can't commentate much since... well you try to stay away from there: Neutral Air is good as hell (just like its counter part with the ball) but his side tilts with no ball are meh, maybe make em a lil faster. Also it's funny his best spikes are in "No Ball"

Allow charge moves to be held for at least a little bit after they're fully charged. They won't deal more damage past max charge but they'll let you time your strong moves just a bit better in case you need to wait just a moment longer before letting it loose.

It's just that currently landing fully charged attacks feels almost luck dependant because since they automatically activate when you release them you're really just banking at the opponent being right there the moment it automatically comes out. Having at least a little leniency on it would help the feel a ton.

I just had someone rage quit/disconnect the moment of the final KO and the Announcer said "Victory", but before it went to the results screen, so it did not count as a win. There technically is one, it’s just hidden. If you go to your past matches you can select the character/person and it should give you a report button all the way to the right of the pop up menu. I personally think that the report button should go somewhere on the win/lose screen kinda like how you can report someone directly after a League of Legends match is over. It’s REALLY needs to be in an obvious place.

The only thing I've been disappointed by in this game is a lack of certain options in The Lab.

I can't directly control the 2nd player, I can only use a bot, I can't set the KBI manually, and there's no frame by frame mode to test things easier.

Oh also the 'starting damage' only being in increments of 5 is a strange choice.

I bought Finn and played him before he came into free rotation and thought that he was fine, but now playing against him it’s made me realize how weird it is, half of his hit boxes feel broken, his spike hits above him and his jab combos hit from behind and move you into the full jab combo
