Dumb to do after I just posted it, but I updated my wishlist by organizing it more by franchises. DC/CN at the top, two reps in one franchise are together, and the rest are tied in some way. I replaced Tree Rex from Skylanders because even though it would be cool, it's not happening. Instead, I picked the default character, Joe, from the game Move or Die since he has been tied to WB through a Rick and Morty crossover event that provided skins from the show.

So, here's an 18-character base roster I thought up

There's countless reps to consider. There are even a few forgotten games that could fit in very well here!

For instance, Resonance of Fate has three characters whose gimmicks revolve around the use of firearms!

Or Madworld has Jack Cayman. His weapon is a gigantic chainsaw that could deal massive damage to others. But depending on the rating, he would be too violent. Then again, we do have Bayonetta and Joker though.

Eternal Champions is basically the Mortal Kombat of Sega. And given its concepts of time travel, there's a few characters to mention too!

And every character from that game learns a different martial art. Shadow Yamoto specializes in Ninjutsu, Larcen Tyler has Bajiquan, and Midknight has Jeet Kune Do to name a few.
