Right now, you can use the spooky bucks you earn on each match to buy up to 3,000 fighter currency in the Spooky Bucks Shop, enough for one character. You can also earn 1,200 on the Halloween Crossover Costume Bash event, if you haven’t completed that. And then there’s a couple hundred you earn each time you get a character to levels 5, 10, and 14. Those are the fastest ways.

It looks like they’re phasing fighter currency out for season 4, though, and everyone’s remaining fighter currency will be rounded up, so you should be able to purchase one character next week, even if you don’t hit 3,000 now.

Every Wednesday, you can claim 20 gleamium in the shop as the daily free item. If you check the Battlepass tiers, some of the gleamium rewards can be earned for free, as well. Usually, event tokens can be redeemed for 100 gleamium (though there’s nothing like that, at present). You also earn 150 gleamium for getting a character to level 15, and 100 gleamium each time your account hits every 10th level.

And the last way, is bonus tiers. For every character level past 15 you achieve, or Battlepass tier past the end you make it to, there’s a small chance it’ll award you with 50 gleamium. I just got this twice in a row! Pretty lucky!

Some things on the movelists don’t appear to have kept in step with all the various changes/buffs/nerfs that the patches have brought to all characters. For example, Shaggy’s side-kick no longer applies weakened when charged, but his movelist still implies it should.

I think Wonder Woman’s armor protects her from one move, up to certain threshold.

I had done all of the rifts (except for the ones that need the hypergalactic skins bc i missed that event entirely), and so just now did co-op rifts to try and get most of those missing tift missions - yet, my xp hasn't gone up at all. I just essentially completed all of the co-op requirements for two whole rifts for no reason smh.
Is this a glitch or what's up?? My xp is currently at 31,240. If i could at least get it to 32,000 then i could do insanity for the hunter rift and then pray ill get enough for the megamix smh

What moves take priority? Every time I play this game I’m literally hitting at the same time ands their moves take over first I recorded the entire fight I played in slow motion and we attack at same time and theirs always went through first

Unless you plan on hosting local game nights id avoid it, most people only play a few characters, not worth unless you plan on explicitly playing all of them

Banana is a good starter character along with shaggy, they're easy to understand and quite strong.

It's hard to tell you what to play since everyone's got a preference, but what I recommend is going to training, you can use all characters in the lab without paying for them and see what you're into.

I read on the subreddit that someone bought one of the starter bundles without claiming one of the characters they’d earned who was also in the bundle, and they just lost the credit. It could be different, perhaps, when you’ve not yet reached the character, but I don’t know if I’d take that risk. If you’re that close, I’d just save your money and earn them for free. If you can pick Raven in Arena mode, you get close to 2,000 XP for a full run-through. You don’t even need to own her.

your side air attack is one of smiths best moves because it can help getting kills early off stage and to just push em back a bit, and also if they get grabbed by your clone it guarantees and neutral attack which can get them to high percentages fast

some good CLASS combos that is good are a tank and a assassin, if you want something more specific, arya and jason are a good combo, because jason can do big damage and get kills early and arya has insane hitstun on some of her attacks and if jason is getting attacked by both opponents she can help initiate 1v1 with another opponent

i play alot of jason and i LOVE this combo

but you mainly want someone with high damage and high kill power and someone and can help their teammate and them selves live longer

When you touch solid ground (doesn't matter if it's floor, wall or ceiling) twice during launch state (that is, the time when you are being launched and unable to do any actions) you automatically perform a "tech".

A tech means that instead of bounce on the ground, the character "lands fine" so he just get up (avoiding being launched again because of the bounce, of course). This technique usually interrupts combos from the enemy, allowing you to escape thanks to the i-frames (invincible frames) of the tech.

You can also flip your joystick to left or right when teching to make a roll to that direction while teching. This means that your opponent could continue his combo if he reads where you are going to tech (left, right o static), so you have to mix up your options.

Try punishing after she attacks, because her attacks has a lot of range and speed, so direct encounter is usually not an option. Of course space your attacks out so she can't hit you with a mashed fast option after her attack.

She is also completely vulnerable while doing her grounded side-b (both the raven one and the little explosive) or while doing any specials when the raven is out. If you predict when she's going to do any of that you can jump over whatever she throws at you and hard punish it.

Rifts have timed events that give you rewards for completing the rift challenges. You can play rifts to level up the rift gems so that you can unlock and beat the higher difficulty rifts.
I think one of the rewards was a demon coin for the first rift this season, and the second one gave you extra caps

If you mean free ways, there are actually a couple of methods, besides the free tiers of the Battlepass. The upcoming Power Pledge event always has 100 gleamium as its final reward. Some of the events that grant tokens also let you redeem them for 100 gleamium, though you’ll obviously have to forgo earning any other rewards for free.

Reaching level 15 for each character grants you 150 gleamium. Use the boosted variants and it won’t take too long to get there. And lastly, every 10 account levels gives you gleamium in increasing numbers, though this takes much, much longer to earn. I wouldn’t really count on this one, especially after you hit level 30.

Oh—two more ways, though these are very small amounts. Every Wednesday night (it may be Tuesday, but I think they changed it to Wednesday), the free item in the shop is 20 gleamium. Every single week. So, just in case it is Tuesday, I would give it a check when the daily item refreshes at 8pm Eastern time.

And once you complete the Battlepass, or reach level 15 with a character, each Battlepass or character level tier after that will yield a bonus reward. There is a very small chance for this reward to be gleamium. It used to be 50 gleamium, but unfortunately with this season, it looks to’ve been reduced to 10. The chance to get it is very slim, but it is one other way.

Passing a ball to an ally just means you throw the ball at an ally in a 2 vs 2. Then they'll "catch" it (it'll hover around them and the next attack they use will throw it)
