hello! i managed to get Wonder Woman yesterday to mastery level 15 and started Shaggy. and i have to admit. i've seen some very scary duos: two Finns, Two Bugs Bunnies, one Bugs and one Finn.. those duos are very scary because all they are doing is to spam rockets and backpacks....

so they are only scary in your mind mate

most Finns are terrible players

look at the "time=##ms" number. how consistent does that number stay

if it jumps around, your wifi is the problem. if it stays relatively stable, pray to the server gods

I mainly just use the face buttons (using the face buttons around 95% of the time). I find the face buttons to be just more responsive and easier to use when performing more precise combos and general actions. The right stick could be used for just charging up a heavy attack though.

Velma can be tough but she isn't nearly as capable if you get up close and personal. In 2 on 2 if you get stuck fighting the other guy Velma will punish you for it but if one of you get in her face you make her life a lot harder and if you are playing randoms most likely the other wont jump in to get you off of her. If you get in her face, stay in her face, and force her to get into a melee you will beat all but the most practiced Velma players.

you need good positioning and knowing other characters priority, otherwise you get giga stomped

Many characters have spammable attacks right now. It's Open Beta and got some balancing to do. But as long as you actually start to learn the characters kit and don't become overly reliant on the potentially spammable move you will be okay

cause if you learn all your moves, it forces you to be good overall with your character

Watch good players playing the game, but active watching (to understand) rather than passive watching (sitting in front of the TV or netflix). If you have a way to watch replays of your own matches, it's also a good use of your time

Play the advanced tutorials. The kbi one is busted. Watch YouTube videos. Pick a main and a secondary. Play them a lot. Get some play with each of the characters to find out what others beat them with. Find the best player with your character on YouTube, find out their strats. If you’re over 25 learn to read hard. Under 25 and you can both read and react. And finally play play play

Search for combos for the characters you enjoy the most and the rest comes naturally, make sure you're actually having fun or you'll just burn out. Also, advanced tutorials for sure
