Wow...i posted a simple video of clips and got a report back saying youre gonna get banned. HEY , ban me...what the hell am i gonna lose? I spent 100+ dollers years ago on this game to promote it....spent more when it released and played it for hours on end....promoting it every way that i can....just get a message back saying hey , dont do that....well guess what Multiversus, f**k you, your game got shut down probably because of the same behavior that just happened over something so nonsensical. If you cant handle someone just trying to showcase a little skill (INCLUDING YOUR GAME IN THOSE CLIPS) then maybe yea, you shouldnt have ever been a live gaming service...but then again....you are ran by WB....so what the hell do i expect.....cant wait for the next mortal kombat or injustice game, that will do just as terrible, not get pulled down, and we still all suffer...thanks to you...dont ever tell me youre gonna ban me over something so stupid and trivial, when your game doesnt even exist. Technically, it was even worse, because when the game launched there was absolutely NO WAY to grind to unlock characters, since games didn't grant any currency or BP exp.
All currency was tied to timed events.

Other than that, a more likely thought process I had was checking for some type of fan projects/servers that wanted to actually do the game justice. As players, there's not much we could've done. It's a combination of bad management and corporate greed that did it in. That said, my initial stance when the game was even first announced stands true to this day - this was one of those things where it was the world's EASIEST win, to such a degree, that you have to be TRYING to fail otherwise. Needless to say, PFG and WB did indeed find a way to fumble.

We're going to have to agree to disagree on that bit, because even though they may have had little to no say on the monetary aspects, they still have to hold the L for how much and how long they continuously hyped things up only to be a complete let down or full 180. The cycle of them hyping things up and/or essentially saying to "chill" and "things are fine" only to rug pull with a delay became a running meme.

To add to that, many people such as myself had items get "lost" once the game supposedly fully released only to be told to essentially F off via bot responses IF we even got a response at all (most people didn't).

A prime example of why I would advise not taking pity on them and being wary of them in the future, is when they tried to pull the paid lives system for the half hearted PvE. The really tried to lie and say it was a "mistake"........only AFTER most people rightfully called it out. Mind you, it was already shared that this was just flat out hard coded into the game, so again - they were just blatantly lying.

After all of that mess, they still managed to add insult to injury by trying to come back being "cute" with random post on Twitter after ghosting folks for over a year, so again, no - PFG is blacklisted on my end lol smh.

100%. As I said when it initially happened, them coming back trying to act "cute" on Twitter after being radio silent was beyond just playing/spitting in our faces at that point. I don't even think we got a "my bad" as an apology either. They really just tried to carry on as if it was all grits and gravy, but I digress.

I took it as a VERY painful learning experience and have moved on. At this point, I'm sure they'll try to do that thing where the company with a bad reputation rebrands under a different name even though it's essentially the same people. Needless to say, I will be vigilant.

Ironically, I'm willing to be that even WITH the questionable roster, they would have still made bank IF the properly fleshed out the core of the game and chilled out with the hyper greed fixation. Even more ironically, I still can't get over the fact that the game would have been better if it was left in beta or reverted back to beta form after the supposed full release of the game. I have literally never seen that happen before where a game gets WORSE after a beta.

MVS made history for all the wrong reasons and will go down as one of if not THE most "coulda woulda shoulda" games to have ever cursed the mortal realm.
