With 2 characters a season, I think it would have been safer to do the highest requested characters within reason, then add some other character that they wanted in. People could have been happier with that, as long as they could have did something more about the way this game was played.

Like Batman sliding everywhere, and then they gave him an unnecessary dash attack like it was a fix. Jack's jab was way too fast on whiff and turnaround. Armor should have never been added, would have been better to add an armor gimmick character like K. Rool without going overboard on it.

Joker neutral special, jack neutral special. On one hand its cool to have counterplay I guess with armor breaks to parries but normally counterplay is dont hit it and enjoy the long whiff time
It made them weird into multi hits, like jack's anti projectile parry with teleport is countered by having more projectiles shot at him at once, doesnt make sense

NASB (2) is underrated, I enjoy the game and kudos to the devs actually improving from the first game.
Rivals of Aether is quite fun even though I mainly played with Workshop characters. feels like a different game
