I get what you're saying but imo all they needed to do was balance ALL characters, add new characters every couple of months with maps, and maybe give us some skins but instead we got slowed movement, rifts that ppl barely touch, unnecessary buffs to already strong characters jack for one, unnecessary nerfs to already low performing characters like Velma or reindog, op untested characters on release, unwanted events that made fans feel like we had to play every week. A long grind for characters that made newcomers leave, a ton of new cosmetics that were majority locked behind some paywall

I have been hoarding gleamium since day 1 of the relaunch and i now have 5,125 gleamium despite never having spent a single penny on the game and i'm not sure what to get.
Every single bundle is half off but the individual skins aren't, but if you go into a character's variant page almost all of their skins are in at least one bundle, i'm just not sure what to get.
I am sad this game is dying, despite never having spent any money in it I did average about 20 hours of playtime per week every week for like 6 months from relaunch to mid season 4, and I already had like 200+ hours when the game was in beta

Also, I just want to say that it sucks the game where they proclaimed they wanted to add characters consistently and indefintely is dying, whereas apex which hasn't had a new character in 8 months and hasnt' had a new gun in 2 years is going strong. I know there are complaints about balancing and how balancing is harder with more characters, I get it, but the way I see it the game is always going to be somewhat imbalanced and the people who complain about OP/unsuable characters will always do that no matter what, and i'd rather have a moderately unbalanced game with 40 characters rather than a somewhat-unbalanced-but-a-bit-more-balanced game with 23 characters
