As Iron giant most characters are going to be headache characters not gonna lie. What makes jack weak is the same stuff that makes velma weak, he lacks kill power and has very predictabler entry with limited combo options

They killed all his combo paths, the best he can hope for is jab into neutral attack which is also now his main kill option. they made him lighter, like jack he has incredibly predictable entries and is incredibly easy to punish even mid move. Having ringouts over stocks mean the 2v2 system makes you get sold by your teammate EVERY MATCH, there is no if ands or buts about it, your teammate can die 3 times and you lose for dying once

Brawl is cheap, but at least in 2v2s, you can just be better and win the game because you are not limited to ringouts as your primary game mode

Ringouts for 1v1s is cool, it doesn't limit anything, but for 2v2s ringouts is not ideal because it doesn't matter how good you are if your teammate can't keep up

Brawl on the other hand, is very friendly to its free to play players and doesnt look the game behind a paywall as Mvs very much does

Brawl has much better customs games as well making it the BETTER game to play with your friends, another plus for brawl

True enough, but it is easier to carry when you have two stocks instead of only one. It's far more inconsistent in Brawlhalla. That alone makes a huge difference. Brawlhalla is so close to being good, too. I would love a redemption arc for the game. Maybe they'll shovel some of the cash it made back into the game and not gimmick costumes. Maybe they could actually ADD a real crossover character for a change.

But that definitely would mess up with how Brawlhalla currently works

That is not a match you are going to carry, the only carry you are gonna do in 2v2 Mvs is against people who don't compare to you. That is not the same thing as actually carrying because you are fighting trash to begin with

However yes, me liking stocks over ringouts is subjective and completely my own opinion
However, not having stocks at all is very bad where as at least in brawl you could just turn on ringouts if you want to

Saying the game is cheap when making characters is true, saying the game is also unbalanced is also true

However Mvs is not balanced at all so using brawl balance as your defense to the game is laughable because Mvs is a much less balanced game so you cannot talk about another game which has slight unbalanced things and then compare it to Mvs acting like Mvs isn't unbalanced when it very much is

However things that are not debatable is stages and game modes, where as maybe you could debate the wacky weekend is goated (which it is)

But it is not a main game mode you can really play, and some times you just fight bots where as in Brawl, you can have an 8 person custom game with multiple different game modes such as a WWE mode or a snow ball mode. Some peak game modes

Where as MVS has characters over brawl and more productions put into making the characters

Brawl just simply has more content and a better f2p experience.

Both games has plus and negatives but calling brawl trash is laughable when it has done much better than MVS did seeing how Mvs is shutting down I am also not saying you called it trash, I am referring to the other guy who did call it trash, which is why this conversation is happening in the first place

I like the speed, but the game is definitely designed in a way that is just raw speed junkie focused. I like the style they want, but the quality is too low for it to actually look good. And it just lacks any original feeling. It feels exactly like every Platform Flash Fighter from early 2000s. It leaves me feeling nothing for any character or "style" of combat. It all ultimately becomes the same and nothing stands out. If it was as good as what's his face claimed, it would be way more successful. But ultimately the cheapness and greed bleeds through, which is why Brawlhalla will never surpass its peak. It will always be stagnant

I also do not like how Stallhalla "balances" the game. Making every character a clone isn't balance, it's just cheap and lazy. It might make more consistent skill level across characters, but that also means every character is meaningless and without personality.
