MVS was designed around 2v2 and with the way they designed characters friendly fire doesnt make any sense, especially projectile ones. MVS system keeps all players active the entire game which is a benefit but really this comes down to personal preference. People hated when you had to work for rank in mvs lmao. So pfg made it so as long as you are decent and climb you eventually make it to the top. Any fighting game where I can climb to masters n their ranked system is too generous
