The Arcade mode or 'Classic Mode was set up more like a traditional fighting game. You fought a number of opponents in either 1v1 or 2v2 and then you would fight your character's rival. After that you would fight the Final boss character which at the time was either a enhance version of Reindog (call 'Reign Dog') or Gizmo (called 'Feral Gizmo'). It had 3 different difficulties and you earned a specific star badge for completing 1v1 or 2v2. It would just be a better offline mode than the rifts in my opinion.

Very, very minor complaint in the grand scheme of things, but they didn't even get to finish the story of the Rifts. Like... it was just all set up.

I really wanted to see more of the actually animated cut scenes, but they gave up on those after Season 1.

we didn't even get a Banana Guard side plot

My favorite rifts are the ones that focus on different versions of characters as they're the rifts that try to be entertaining
