I feel like shields were supposed to be there from the start but couldn't implement them.
and honestly would have been better if they never did add them, another time drain

Possibly the connection or maybe the servers went down without warning or maybe it depends on the region you are in or the platform, I haven't had any problems like that since season 3

If the gameplay didn't reward passive play, requested characters were added, and a little decrease in shop prices were implemented, this wouldn't have happened.

Another one is when me and my random teammate steam rolled our opponents, he conceded and I lost 19RP.

omg not even with ranked but i love the arena gamemode, and i completely understand why it died. imagine playing 8 matches just to disconnect and get no battlepass xp, fighter currency, etc, and have to wait to matchmake again because the game counts being kicked out as you "leaving" so youre punished for it
