Multiversus isn't beginner friendly at all regarding it doesn't teach the player to do advanced movements and gives unlocking fighters an annoyance as they can't unlock the fighters they want

I still have "matchmaking failed" sometimes, fixes after a game restart, but the game runs faster once I changed to the faster router, so the servers seem fine but the game is a bit goofy sometimes.

I'm conflicted with ranked right now because, so far, I used to get to master with a different character per season, and now I don't know if keeping doing it or celebrate the last ~~rites ~~ season with my main.

it's crazy how I insanely I loved this game

for me the network errors in the first few weeks were really annoying

plus I was excited to play Jake but he had a bug on his up special that either crashed the game or gave a network error.

there will be no more games like this.

I look at the current roster and I am utterly amazed with what PFG had done.

I guess it's hard to sustain a live service game that is a very niche genre.

or by wasting your character reveals on background characters

Don't forget making massive fundamental changes to both the overall gameplay and to characters every 2 months. You can't retain players if it feels like a brand new game every 2 weeks

At some point you have to find good game play loop and stick to it. Small tweaks are fine, but adding things like auto tech, shields, dodge meter not recovering meter in burn out...

indeed, they made divisive decisions for their player base a bit too often.
starting from the beta/relaunch impact, then auto tech, then shields.
shuffle the deck long enough and we don't even know what we are playing anymore
