I dont think marceline was a smart addition, though she was a good one, she wasnt the character mvs needed right now. Mvs needed to add a character like mordecai or gumball (if they are even characters being worked on) because those are new IPs and would bring in more people (a new fandom would join the mvs community) Marceline was a heavy requested character but it still did nothing for the game.
