Well, not being able to 1 shot Jerry and the ability to interact with the kick rocket's hitbox is the defining characteristic lol. The problem is that most bad match-ups against T&J come from the lack of ability to counterplay 'em. When Jerry shot is the best projectile in the game and interrupts your attacks with a corkscrew that can be followed up by Tom for up to 40 damage with the right conversions, it starts to become a serious problem. It's the inability to interact with those two options that make the flowcharts uncontestable at times.

Marceline kinda struggles because Jerry becomes elbow drop bait, n-air just misses him at random and d-tilt is interruptible, has to be spaced so the second hit won't ignore Jerry and corkscrew with stop you all day. Stance change won't even kill him without the 5% perk either. I'd genuinely rather fight T&J on Velma, cause she can just s-air to one-shot him, which safer approach option due to mobility, disjoint and range too
