They decided to rebuild the game in Unreal engine5 and upscale the character’s sizes because one main issue with the beta was characters were so small that tracking them on the screen was both difficult for the players and the viewers. Also with the game in unreal engine its now both cheaper and faster to update the game.

Jason was one of the characters I climbed to masters with last season. Unless he received big changes now he felt pretty terrible to play then. Not that he didn't have combos or couldn't kill but he gets beaten down pretty easily and has broken hit/hurtboxes that arent in his favor. I almost stopped playing the game during my time as him because it was generally unfun

Yes jason can kill quick but the tradeoff is being a large punching bag without disjoints despite the fact he uses weapons

They have changed so much of the gameplay core from then to now that I am just convinced the constant changes have become a turnoff and now have the opposite effect. Just smooth out what you can about the game now without sweeping changes and add popular characters

I don't think any character in Multiversus needs to be gutted just make them less oppressive or just improve on a bad move.

Taz really got major changes to nado, his down smash, and boot yet he doesn't dominate the meta. the problem is the devs tend to overtune some characters
