Also, Multiversus taking roots from a MOBA strategy of locking the roster is going to hurt them hard, MOBA conventions are highly different as it's largely a team game, everyone's weaknesses and strengths can be covered by another character in a 5v5 as a result, however Multiversus is a platform fighting game primarily on 2v2s and 1v1s, it's a game highly reliant on matchups that relies on players picking characters, and unfortunately locking the roster prevents matchups

Well yeah, that's exactly what I'm imagining lol. But think again about Rick, he never aims AT the person. He aims close to them for a surprise attack sometimes, but imagine if Stripe had that kind of high execution barrier + high start-up for the target to even show up + limited ammo... I mean, it'd only be fair for him to be rewarded properly. As is, Stripe gets all reward with no risk. Doesn't have to aim, completes combos by itself, tops off KOs by itself, deals a ton of damage by itself, it just does everything, and in a 2d platformer, that simply doesn't work

Batarang leads into ground bounce + conversions (dash attack is craaaaazy for KO), and don't forget, he got buffed to compensate for weakened being out of the game... but the batarang return perk can still inflict weakened x3, soooooooo...
