It also helps when getting early community feedback on buffs/debuffs in case something is just too under/over powered

Alongside acting as a bit of free advertising for the newer characters by letting people play the characters early in order to test them out.

  Guess what happened.

I Play it against about six people, and only one of them knew how to use shields, and another one look like they learned how to use while I was playing against them
