Beetlejuice is all about setting up combos on ONE person. If their teammate saves them from BJ then he loses a potential free kill. You don't have to be an expert on the character nor the game to get this.

In 1s no one is saving you from the BJ lock ins. He is an absolute monster. At that point all you can do is curl into a ball and wait for the combo to be over. BJ is one of the scariest characters in the game to face alone.

I think the major difference is actually that the meta in this game has shifted in a slightly more positive direction over time, Jabversus and projectileversus was truly a horrible time to be around, Jabversus isnt dead but its probably on its way out with the new mechanics coming
