Yeah, the game simply wasn't ready for an online release like this. It seems to run fine when things go well. But yesterday I had like 3 DCd matches in a row. And it wasn't in the beginning of the match either. It's just frustrating comparing it to my experience in the beta.

there is a lot of complaining but some gems of info to pop up. Xbox netcode and or gameplay is currently jank, so might be best to try other platform for now. For PC, I found out helps me to turn off crossplay since it will pair you with Xbox players and cause a lot of desyncs with coin flip results as to who causes it and/or gets banned. My quality of opponent has gone up but I have far fewer desyncs. No idea with Playstation as I'm on Steam/Epic.

and if you experience controller lag and use a bluetoothed controller switch to a wired something. otherwise it was probably a lag spike that caused you run off the stage and/or desync.

It's nice to hear it's not exclusive to people on Wifi though, I was starting to get worried that was the problem.

I know the beta had rubberbanding issues but I never fully disconnected from matches during it.

We do have Disconnects but they are rare and almost exclusively when opponent is on XBox.

If your Router and computer's Wireless NIC supports at least WiFi 6, Ethernet is unlikely going to change anything... if you're on WiFi 5 or older and don't plan on upgrading the switch over to Ethernet might give you more consistent performance.

I've pretty consistently had dropouts daily since the open release, even after turning crossplay off to not run into consoles.

So I don't know if it's fair to say issues aren't present on PC just because you personally aren't experiencing them.

First, the person who told you their issues had nothing to do with Wireless is on a PS4.
Second, if you're experiencing way more drops than you feel other PC people are having when you expressed already worrying about your own Wireless setup, you should not just dismiss that. (A person would not be suspecting connectivity issues if their Network/ISP wasn't already an issue outside of just MultiVersus.)
Third, I can only speak from personal experience. Which is a drop in every 30~60 matches because I do not have Cross-Play disabled.

Why are three out of seven of my WEEKLY challenges linked all too the joker bazooka attack not only is that super lame because I don’t even have joker that means that now I won’t get almost half of the weekly xp that I am supposed to get as it takes 10+ years to get enough fighter currency to unlock a single character

Yeah probably. Diablo 4 has been fun recently so probably once that cools down. The patch notes seem promising but I'm not holding my breath. It just so unsatisfying to be in a match and having fun then it desyncs then the next two matches don't even start due to desync then the next matches after that feature a player not moving. It's not a fun cycle to be forced to go through to get to one good match with no BS

I'll say this for absolute surety, I WONT be spending a dime on this game until everything is resolved but will that happen before my interest is completely gone? I don't know. I would imagine a lot of people feel similarly to me.

When playing on the xbox one I came across a series of desyncs (network errors) which would garner xp after each match was unsuccessfully started on my end.

In response to this occurring I will stick to playing on my laptop.

since the new patch on steam the netcode is feeling very laggy. Still playable, but framerates in game have dropped from 120 to like 80 in even the menus. (I have a R5 3600x and a RTX3070 with 32gigs of DDR4 3600mhz RAM, its not a hardware issue) my usage for CPU GPU and ram all sit under 30% while in game. Not sure what changed but on the south african server it is a significantly worse experience. (I also have stable 500mb/s up and and down internet that is still working perfectly everywhere else)
