I assume the banning is for people who disconnect on purpose when they're losing, and it's just tripping up right now over the whole thing being unstable.

I've mostly been sticking to rifts and only giving PVP a try when I need to for daily missions.

Thankfully you can just use rifts for the "play as <character>" missions, and if it's a character you don't like to play as you can just use them in minigame rifts and it still counts.

does rollback netcode actually exist? or is it just netcode? some matches my input delay increases to 6+ frames, which is a full 0.1 second or more of input delay, that + the input delay our peripherals are limited to is a lot, i thought rollback netcode existed so that there could be less input delay in exchange of the character locations having to be rolled back sometimes, but it seems this is not the case at all, every single time i seen a enemy or teammate teleport in the screen the game disconnected due to "desync", i suppose the teleporting may be from the rollback netcode but is it doesnt seem to be applied correctly if so, playing with so much input lag is unbearable and i just lose on purpose every time theres significant input lag unless im in 2's
i wanna clarify i dont mean to attack anyone with this post, just hoping that this is an issue and not whats intended

The rollback is still terrible in cases where a player has really bad connection you can be hit about a characters length away on your screen because of this we waited almost an entire year for the game to back out worse in every aspect except the netcode is a lot better but still not all the way there yet

I actually haven’t been experiencing much lag at all, except for in 2v2. The lag in that mode becomes kinda immediately noticeable. Even when there isn’t any super obvious visual lag, the input lag at least still feels greater to me, than in any other game mode.

Additionally, the 30 frame buffer in online matches needs to go or at least have an option to change it like there was in the beta. I have no idea why that setting was removed, but I for one don't like having a buffer meant for like 300 ms ping when I'm probably playing at like 30-50 ms ping

I've found that if you disable crossplay you tend to have less matches that drop out, so crossplay might just not be implemented very well.

Just a psa for anyone who may have had the same issue as me, I was having no issues with the servers then the other day I was suddenly getting disconnected randomly into each game. I figured out my internet was getting a very large ping spike for barely a second at a time which multiversus considers a desync and disconnect, so I reset my router and it fixed the issue for me completely. i added him and invited him he said he accepted it but he didnt get in

then i tried restarting the game so did he and it didnt show a invite button

I love how everyone mentions it’s “a wifi related issue, yet I’ve never seen another game affected with the servers like this.” This is entirely Warner Brothers fault for having crap netcode or something else on their end. I’m playing on a series x with 500 Mbps speeds and it’s still happening. I have friends with the same setup and it’s happening to them. Stop blaming people’s hardware if it’s an issue that’s mass effecting everyone? 🤦‍♂️.
