221k, 2.4k (different character), 324k, 24k

At my mmr I should be placed into high ranking matchmaking, but that system does not work at all since they "changed" it to 1.9k mmr

Before it exclusively did high ranking matchmaking, so sometimes you had to wait upwards of 2 minutes for a game and ended up queuing into a bot. This was with crossplay on btw. Now, you usually vs the same few people because they pair up at the same time you do OR you get a random low rank

While Tasmanian Trigonometry is probably the objectively better perk in almost any other case, I'd argue that Toon Elasticity would be superior on Scooby's Mansion since it prevents down air kills on stage AND makes the bouncing off the ceiling more controllable. That being said, I would say you should run both (have your teammate run one you run one) and you will live to significantly higher percentages more consistently.

@fathom tusk Does Finn have any way of gimping enemies or forcing them to use aerials? I noticed that your way of edge guarding was to use Down tilt after knocking Harley back, or to try and spike when you were being pressured off stage. When I play against Finns who Dtilt it’s always the first thing I punish with an Air

I have no experience with Finn and won’t even pretend I do, but is it possible to edge guard by throwing crystal downwards at the ledge? I feel like that would apply your pressure without letting your attack’s end lag punish you, and it would leave your opponent in a very 50/50 situation. Either you’re going to teleport to them and bounce them off the wall, or you’re going to Dair them. Neither are good and depending on your read, you can better hurt your opponent.

If not, is there any way you can bounce your opponent off of the wall? Morty’s way of doing it is axe and Wonder Woman’s is Sair, but I don’t know if Finn has those options because his aerials tend to be a bit stubby and weak on knockback

I just think your ground down (Dtilt) is really risky

It’s very punishable because of its end lag

Especially against a Harley, who can Up Special you

Edge strategy is the most important part of the game because you can have a 100% DMG lead on your opponent and then get killed at 37% from them punishing a hasty Dair or cornering you with no jumps or dodges
