So either Raven is first and Marceline is the mid-season release (possibly with the second BP?) or both characters are releasing at the start of the season, though I suppose if Marceline is with the first BP and that releases at the start she'd be slightly earlier.

Maybe Raven will be available at the same time with cash for 3 days, then through Fighter Road after that

This f2p "smash" 2vs2 was supposed to be a party fighting game, in the same way that Fall Guys, Fornite(?), and other party games. But, the problem here is that other party games deal with extremely simple mechanics in comparison to a platform fighting game. This is not a fighting game, this is a platform fighting game, with physics of Fall Guys + Street Fighter. This game requires twice the amount of effort from the rest. This means that the game requires an immense balancing every now and then, and also have a strong server connection. Even then, PFG made a bet of making one character per month, when even smash took 2-3 months for that, adding the new events and skins and modes that is required for engaging people as an online game and also f2p. The bet was very risky since the beginning. The idea, though, was amazing.

@drifting iris agreed I think the game is so unstable because they are doing a lot to keep fans playing but it’s too much at one time. Your releasing two characters at a time which is nice but if you don’t have the proper things for it to run smoothly than it’s always going to have balance issues. These events it be like 3-5 events going at one time. They need to shrink the use of how many events happen at one time. Take some time to really balance the game before releasing characters and sometimes I nothing to lie the events are not too worry it. You already have a battle pass and should probably focus on making those better since they are lacking and making them possibly longer to include more content at one time rather than trying to get content from battle pass, and mutilp events

Fighter Road continues on until the player manages to unlock all of the fighters on the road. If a player manages to unlock all characters, up to and including Nubia, the additional Fighter Road XP earned will then be converted to Battle Pass XP at a rate of 40%.

Fighter Road would be better if you got to pick who wanted to unlock. Instead of going threw tiers.

Think if you have over half you should be able to start picking who want to unlock. that would be even better

Yeah it’s super annoying. Especially cause the dailies give you barely anything. It feels like they’re still set to give you the gem xp back when it was 1-10 which helps almost 0 when it’s 1-20.
