Its not the speed thats the problem, the start of a match is slow until you adept into the session you're in. Overall its slow yes, but if you play a match the speed depends on which character you are up against

The battle pass is pretty easy to me. Course I have no job and no life, but if you do the daly tasks and Collect the xp in the missions tab itself you should be making more than one level a day. basically have each special turn his arms into different weapons, for example :
special up : His giant fists got boosters under them, which causes him to launch into the air landing a punch.
