u just speedrun against bots until u get a challenger battle. compare it to brawlhalla which uses a currecny too. i dont remember how quick it is, because i got the fighters pass but i do think brawlhalla it could be grindy too. Difference is the roster is very large and each character has 2 weapons so u can get a lot more out of each character
ALSO, fighting games like that give free characters to play every week
