If you run out of dodge/let the bar get empty, your character starts sweating and the dodge no longer has invulnerability frames. Other than the visible sweating, this is largely unchanged from beta. So, long story short, you can't just spam it to get across the stage as beta Superman players found to be faster than walking.

that probably highly depends on your preferences. Google is there always better with multiple tests to read. I personally use a Steelseries Arctis Nova and I'm quite happy with it, if you have multiple consoles/pc you can use that for everything, tough I would prefer the pc/xbox variant even for ps

bc typically i've also been gauged in fighters that go well on ground. Charge characters, boxer-types grapplers and the like. Hodan in Rivals, Shazam in Injustice, G in SFV, Little Mac/Incineroar in Smash, Leo in Strive, Beowulf in Skullgirls, Shuma-Gorath in UMVC3, those kinds of things

Had a pretty storied history of being a casual fighting game dipper so

Hm. I would say that Arya and Batman probably play closest to Little Mac in that they're light, but they also blend a lot of air stuff so it's like they're a combo of Shiek and Little Mac. In the beta it felt like Taz was probably the worst in the air, but pretty darn solid on the ground to make up for it. If it's grapplers you like, Superman and Iron Giant both have command grabs but not nearly as varied as Jason.

Shaggy only has one projectile and it's sort of unwieldy, so that's someone you want to close the gap quickly and start wailing on people. It reads like you enjoy harder hitters and melee range, so bruisers might be your best friend.

Oh. I'd forgotten about how insufferable a good Garnet player is. Plenty of punches, armored hits, a command grab, a bruiser, self-buffing, limited projectile.

Could give her a shot.

It's hard to make a direct comparison to other Smash, since Multiversus feels like it has a tendency to rip the established archetypes into spare parts and then Frankenstein them back together into fusions. But if you like big beefy satisfying punhces, I think Garnet is a safe bet.

And other than her buff she's fairly straightforward, where Taz has the Chicken Gimmick.

Kidding aside video games are a fantastic escape. Fairly easy to access, just need functioning hands and eyes (and even then there are workarounds), achievable and straightforward goals, and reliable interactivity-- so long as you don't break your system or controller. Glad to hear that Multiversus helped you out.

I did hear somewhere that dodges cannot be canceled into itself anymore, they are more of a commitment more than anything. Essentially wavedashing is gone (looking at you Superman mains)

Dodging has been greatly diminished, yes. You have a bar that slowly recharges, and starts full, and the dodge meter reduces when you dodge. 8 ground dodges or 2 air dodges is roughly the amount needed until you're tapped out.
At that point, you can do the motion (sort of) but you don't get invincibility frames until the bar recharges.
It recharges faster when you hit the opponent or get hit yourself.

If you let the dodge meter fully deplete you don't get invincibility frames until it's fully recharged.

I felt like that was part of the zany quirkiness of the game, but I'm not inherently against how it is now. I'd like to try it out before I judge... and I'd also like a mayhem mode that brings back the old beta feeling of constant dodging and 0 whiff frames.

It is overall much more balanced from what intel I've been able to gather.

And balance is healthier for the game long-term, which is what we should all be rooting for.

So rather than cry about how life's not fair because some people got early access and we didn't, and we'll show them because we're so much cooler and better at the game, how is everyone spending their Memorial Day weekend to take their mind off of the clock? I'm watching tons of gameplay right now from what I'm assuming is recent playtesting (Void posted the video so I'm not getting banned, dunno how the footage is public) and the game looks a lot slower and different than it did before.

Well in the current video game economy, most notably in the free to play with seasonal passes, a strong playerbase is king. The more people who play the game means they all will talk and means a higher chance of bringing others into the game. Big AAA studios abuse this notion by putting out the same game 4-7 times with minor tweaks, making everyone rush out to buy the next game just to keep up with the shift of the server count/playerbase from the old one to the new one.

Glad AAA studios are dying, honestly. Frees up more resources for companies like PFG. Gave them the chance, and they didn't disappoint.

The blast zone ceiling feels like it's been lowered on every stage. Can die at like 30 off the top with a decent combo where the sides you're either chasing deep or gotta be at like 85ish % at average.

If anything I'd think the side blast zones would be closer than the ceiling. Going offstage to confirm a kill comes with a considerable risk and a lot of air resources.

But other than that you'll still hit the stage if you fall straight down. Chasing offstage has blast zones in 3 out of 4 directions.

See what I usually do is I marinade the patties in a half soy sauce, half worchestershire liquid and flip them every 15 minutes for about an hour. But if anyone has any suggestions on another way to do up the burgers...

Put some lemon juse on the bread then the onion, one thin slice of a tomato, the the the patty then hot peppers and pickles with black pepper, curry and a fell drops of white wine then finish with some shredded cheese and the next slice of bread.

I don't specifically use a kind. The important thing is to be a think cheese and if you want beter results yiu can even marinade it for some flavour but be aware that the bread may get a little soggy from the lemon, oli and pickle liquid.
