As a Superman main, how the heck do you fight against Shaggy 1v1. Seriously Im looking at my match history and I have lost the last 10 matches 1v1 as supes to shaggy... no matter the skill level. some of them were dumb ring outs I set up for myself... but most of them I just could not land a single kill on him

I am not the best Superman player in the world but I am closing in on 200 wins and my average match K/D with literally every other fighter aside from maybe Iron Giant pre-patch is 2.0

I can never get any kind of hit priority on him due to him spamming kicks 24/7, even if i dodge them I still find I don't have opportunities to kill shot him because he is surprisingly heavy. Idk maybe I need to git gud but I feel like he needs to be nerfed

I think I need to learn another character as a submain for situations like that. I will go out on a limb to say I am fairly good with superman. I mix up pretty much all his moves in matches well and in Teams, if the partner is not a feeder or someone with a bad connection I am a monster

I had a 15 win streak ended on me the other day because my partner went idle mid match, and try as you might its incredibly difficult to protect your teammate from certain death and ring out two opponents at the same time

DI is the best way to counter it, move yourself left of right as paddle spam tends to hit you upward, so if you force your movement left or right, you'll get out of hitstun and be able to dodge away

Yeah but Shaggys horisontal attacks and up air is a hard counter against superman which is more of a stand still character. Superman is strong against all bruisers except shaggy just because of his side kick. Try doing more planted moves with shield protection. These should be able to punish shaggys kicks

Yep quick movement and dodging is a hard counter against shaggys kicks. Also only look at the opponent and not your own character. I hit hard skill ceiling when I played brawlhalla but got top 10k brawlhalla players for a while when reading more from the opponents

You have MMR per character and in the leaderboard, the game displays the character with the highest MMR and the MMR of that character. so this probably means that your Taz MMR is greater than your arya MMR. This also explains why ur MMR never goes up, cause you are playing arya so your arya MMR is changing but not your taz MMR so the displayed MMR isnt changed

Unless there is some bug, after some time when ur arya MMR surpasses ur taz MMR it should change

Well it’s proven they didn’t expect this many players on their servers and so there servers are suffering because of it, also I heard some things about the last update messing up a part of the server can’t say the word for some reason it times me out but that’s just speculation but I will say I only lagged on mvs heavily after the update.

Also smash is better than multiversus just because of the hit boxes but mvs is in beta I do believe if they properly update it, it will be better than smash in the future but maybe I’m biased
