The rank shows the rank for your best character, and I think it refreshes the number it shows you after each game. And the mmr displayed is showing mmr of your best character.
If you had not played in a while between that round and the one before it could be lots of people passed your best characters mmr while you were away.
It could so be that you were playing a character other than your best one so it only refreshed it. It makes winning feel like you are going backward sometimes cuz ppl pass the mmr of your best character while you play different ones.
