These images looks like they have a tiny but more volume into the scene and more depth

#

Try to add in a cube that covers the entire scene and give it a volume scatter node into the Volume of the Material Output.
Give it some really low values so that it doesnt make the volume of the scene incredibly dense.
But in a way that can still add in some type of soft light spread

The fob of the camera can be wider and the main light from the ref is a keylight from above.
The main contrast is through value.
2nd has a bright top area and a dark background and a dark dress with a white floor.

If you implement those 3 things it’ll look better

Mess with volumes after nailing the light. They slow everything down so you won’t be able to iterate as quickly.
And consider the mist path as alternative. Volumes can quickly wash out the image if you’re not careful and the ref shines through the contrast
