when a model is finished how do you export it with the rig and import it without the rig messing up?

How do i limit some bone location movement? i only want the bone connected on the body to move freely while the rest of the spider leg moves on its local x-axis to make it more spider bot-like

- what are you exporting/importing to?
- you can use bone constraints
question two i already figured out, it was dumb it was right in my face lol
but in one, i made a few models with the rig and materials to use in future animations and i rather not re-add the materials and the Rig after importing them to a new project
Make a dedicated folder on your hard drive for assets. Edit your preferences to add this folder as an asset library. Save this file into that folder. Add the models/materials/collections as assets (right click, mark as asset). Find all your stuff in the asset browser window
Alternatively use append option from the file menu. But asset browser is far more convenient
