I have modelled, unwrapped, textured, rigged and animated my watering can spider and he is based off of PolyFjords tutorial, the only difference is how he looks.
I cannot seam to get it into unreal as it is in blender.
I am exporting as an FBX with animations, without animations, nothing seams to work.
Would really appreciate any help or suggestions.
I am hoping this is not being caused because the way it was rigged is only supported in blender

Not sure how the Rig works and how it's setup. But I know how to get a character with rig into Unreal.

You have to export your character without animation as an FBX in the Regular Pose.

Afterwards you can export you Character with your animation. Since the Rigged char was imported previously, Unreal will read is as an animation sequence.

Once imported you can assign that asset to the Character.

Unfortunately, that is the tutorial I followed and it would not work, also the unreal would crash trying to import it.

<@&940342168088903760> On top of this issue, I was thinking there may be an addon which will allow me to move the mesh over; however, if someone was successfully get their mechanical spider into UE5, your process will be much appreciated.

Hi, are you trying to use this animation to add in a game project or just to visualize?

If you are trying to visualize or make faster renders, the best way to export animations and cameras is to export in USD format. You may not have much control of your exports in Unreal.
