Are you using an object constraint rather than a bone constraint?
Yes you're right, I was using the wrong constraints.
I'm still struggling to animate the bone to the curve path though.
it keeps trying to twist the bone in the direction of the path
I want to animate these legs going in a kind of figure 8 pattern
I'm sorry, I cant see your video because its not got a common codec and i have to pay for that codec :S
"not a common codec" bruh it's literally in HEVC, it's super common
just download VLC or something similar, you can't fault the user here.
HEVC is the successor to H.264, and is often recommended a lot because it's better than H.264 in literally ever way. It's faster, smaller and easier to decode.
