Commom RDNA 3 driver issue

You either only setup the essential driver, not the driver app

And play that way

Or you turn off Freesync Premium

In the display settings

I had the same issue in almost all games on RDNA 3 architecture

You can also slightly underclock your GPU

That worked for me in the long run

Not too much though

It starts crashing from low clocks as well

The GPU is not crashing because of heat

AMD GPUs are rated for 110C

Then they start thermal throttling

This is mostly to do with the memory chips, which heat up in AMD cards

So AMD went and said, ahhhh, guys, 110C is fine, don’t sweat it

But keep in mind that above 90C, silicon starts degrading

I’ve sent out multiple pieces of information to AMD regarding this driver timeout issue, but they just claim that it’s a “user error” so they won’t have to fix it

If you look in reliability history, Windows reports it as being a Windows has crashed error

This issue affects, RX 7600, RX 7600XT, RX 7800 XT, RX 7900XT, RX 7900XTX

GRE and 7700XT have a slightly different architecture design

Haven’t seen this issue on those

Alternatively, you can also DDU your GPU driver files in safe mode, but that didn’t help me at all

after unzipping them

you go to steam, right click Bodycam, go to browse local files, then the top Bodycam folder, then Content, and then you paste it into Paks.

then just close out and open your game and its done, to take it off you just have to go delete them and its off.

Yea I agree with spacedev. Also you could try the boosts if your getting really low frames. But everyone has different results with how much worse it makes it look. On mine it’s not so much so I use them, other people get there 1440p looking like a bad 1080p when they turn it on.
