yea the 4070 ti super is what i upgraded too and its been nice, probly like twice the performance the 4060 gets honestly. all my clips on the 4060 were so choppy and laggy, but now there all smooth as can be. What are the cpus being used? that could be a problem as well where your cpu wont let your graphics card perform to its maximum capabilities.

the extra money on graphics card to get the next level is well worth it, but make sure your looking into all options before you buy it, also if you never went into your BIOS and changed your Ram to its correct speed you will be running your Ram in safe mode pretty much and changing that alone will help with performance. Say your Ram its supposed to run at 6000mhz it will be running at 4800mhz until you change it, or even less.

I have the 13400f initially I thought it could be the issue since texture quality is also a cpu demanding setting but for me using mw3 I was getting 120ish fps with high textures and antistropic filtering and dlss balanced all else lowest with the 4060ti 16gb but with a 4070 same settings but dlss quality 220-240fps easily

I gave my dad the 4060ti and he has an i3 12100f so new/measured benchmarks would be unequal now and the 4070 model I got was the asus strix version so its a huge pain to pull out

as promised here is the two different issues I had the other night in relation to the poster who has the video with no shadows... i cannot pinpoint it as i hated the aesthetic and quickly starting reverting settings (not in game) on my pc, however, I accidentally DL'd nvidia gaming experience (was meaning to dl the new nvidia beta app). Knowing that nvidia gaming experience is junk it may have been the cause... Like I said it was a quick reset of pc settings and to the best of my recollection had nothing to do with the in game settings, rather the gaming experience trying to optimize the game itself...

The problem is: if you optimize the game with NVIDIA it will makes settings which are not allowed 🚫 I mean with not allowed: the devs make some cuts for some settings to prevent abusing of no shadows etc. but the config.data is not encrypted. That means that NVIDIA will make the best optimization to get best FPS and will change settings which is normally blocked ingame
