You have to play for 15-20 minutes before the performance normalizes because of the active shader compilation

Many people do not like the effects added on this last update. Has a washy, muddy look and there are some weird lens things that are overly done. The game has lost clarity jn the visuals. Before that, there are some other things that I didn't see happen, buy they went to a "Skin" system of upgrades as opposed to a fully customizable piece by piece type of upgrades.
There are also a lot of User Interface issues and lots of promised updates that people seem to be disappointed about the timelines that have been missed. So much....that bothers people? It is what it is. Its a game, rinse repeat type gameplay. Its future seems stagnant.

I wouldn't say ruined but I get what you mean. Though I suppose I was playing on and off. Id say im disappointed. I'll bring up zombies, as it feels like the backrooms map, they just did it to do it. Theres some substance there that they just arent tapping, the first match for both maps are pretty scary but it has a heavy drop off and I havent played it since. Theres always potential in the future though.

i do notice the lens issue and the "muddy look" it does look kinda weird and chroma kind of oversharpened or blurry in areas.

the performance is great. atleast for me, it COULD be a bit better. especially how they handle shaders, instead of loading ingame and having your fps tank and have jitters. it should be pre loaded sort of like warzone. or in between loading screens, thats just me though

that said, i am a new player. so it might get worse overtime. but it is currently my favorite game and i hope they make it better and add new content.

Looking at these other mechanics being added to the weapons and all I can think of is even when I triple check before reloading as soon as it starts someone's runs around the corner and blasts me. Can't really imagine just casually taking the ammo out and looking at the weapon for the fun of it when doing so id an essential death wish. Actually I haven't even played the game since it screwed me out of a 42 day streak and still will not count any new wins. The only reason I kept coming back every day and playing was to keep the stupid streak going. Guess I'll check back in 6 months and see what's happen

if you're talking about some very low res textures for what they are , yes, we're working on it as a background task, some changes will be visible with the next update, but it's something that will be constantly improve!

I do see what you're talking about but they've been leading us on with like a carrot on a stick for the reload update. If you want to wait to release the full update, atleast but it on the beta branch or like make the beta-tester role useful so that we can see that it'll actually eventually come out (Also not all systems have been overhauled but I can see that a lot of stuff was)
