With how small the maps are supposed to be, it shouldn't really change how well you hear guns. I don't mind adding them for the cool factor, but they shouldn't be making any real difference to how much you hear the gunshots. Even with suppression, pistols can be heard from hundreds of meters without any issue.

Calling it “early access bullshit” explains why you’re upset, at the end of the day you took the gamble. If the game suddenly falls off, or they need more time to work on the game, it is what it is. When I buy an “early access” game I don’t expect it to stay perfect or the same. There’s been plenty of updates I DIDNT like. Developers these days publish an unfinished game way too easily and mark it as early access. Fine if you do, but then take 10 years to maybe complete the game. Early access is not being overlooked, it's just overused. Purchasing a early access title should be an investment to support devs in their process to fully release a game, and that investment could turn to shit. But it still does not remove any right to complain, cause if they can't maintain their game during early access, then they certainly won't when it's live service.

Hey!

For the friends servers issue, it may have been related to private/public server visibility. We had some inconsistencies due to Steam API changes, but we’ve fixed several of those problems already.

Getting split into different servers after inviting from the lobby is not normal. There’s a fix in the next update, so that should be resolved.

We’re currently reworking matchmaking. First, we’re making sure parties can reliably play together on the same team with better balance by level. After that, we’ll introduce proper private lobbies (up to 10 players) where you can split teams and play against your friends. That won’t be in the next update, but it’s in progress.

Bots replace missing players, but you can disable them in the settings if you prefer.

The next update already includes the first improvements to matchmaking and its UI.

So I know there’s been dev leaks but that isn’t really anything to do with when the next update will happen or when they think it will drop. I think we all need consistent news on what’s going on behind the scenes.

The devs gotta realize that they have to prioritize the lobbies and servers because at the end of the day this load out update won't mean anything if nobody is going to get on and host any lobbies cuz the servers are straight trash and ahh. sorry but its the truth and we all know that...rn I know they probably have so much progress on the other updates but I feel like this is long overdue.... yall gotta focus on marketing and servers cuz this is the main reason why 4 friends of mine stopped playing the game after just a month.

The devs have also done poorly on communication... I understand they need all the hands they need to get these updates out but that just comes too show that we are still not being very communicative with the fan base (again) its strange because yall literally announced that yall have a marketing team that would focus on dev leaks and behind the scenes so yall really gotta be truthful and open about what's going on behind the scenes

No, it's purely intentional. Initially, the complaint was that people couldn't team up, but later we realized it completely unbalanced the lobby. All of this is part of a total rework of these features.
