if the whole game close, that's a crash, if you're just back to the menu, it's a connection error, either you get disconnected because of an unstable connection, or the host is simply leaving

What power supply you running that on? When I did my build I had a pretty strict budget but wish now I had held out a couple more months because I could've done so much more with a few hundred bucks. I've never been a gamer let alone a pc gamer, (last pc I had was a Macintosh performa with a whopping 8 mg of ram!), but my laptop and pc died (not the mac, lol, a freebie) at the same time I found myself in a situation where I'm stuck in one place a lot with time to kill. That said I cannot complain at all as my current system will hold 20 games and run them smoothly and beautifully even if not with all the extra bells and whistles. Like I can not turn on ray tracing for DOOM Eternal and have a playable frame rate but outside of that its ok

I did the 550 w and wish I went the 750 or 850 for future upgrade paired with a 4060rtx and a 5 5600. That and getting a 32 inch curved monitor for what I paid I really cannot complain. I do appreciate art and the fine details tho so it's always eating at me in the background. The game is in early access, things like this can happen. It's normal and will be fixed (it happened to me with several larger purchases, but it's something that is known to happen)

If you're going to try it with a controller i recommend setting the lobby to private and playing with it like that. I tried using a controller and it just does not feel right at all with this game. Yes the delay, that's by design. It does seem to make everything feel a little slow to me personally, maybe it could be a hair tighter following the camera movement. The weapon sway also is just so ridiculous sometimes that needs to be toned down a lot. Sometimes the weapon ends up all the way to the left or right as you fire.

Were you in the middle of a game or did it just throw you back out after trying to join? If its midgame the person how was running the lobby either rage quit or had to run back to reality. Its a pretty heavy fault designing the game to be dependent on one person. As for being kicked right back out when trying to join idk what the cause of that is.
Just host your own lobby but remember to be courteous to those who join and try to make sure nothing comes up where you need to quit midgame

I hope they are working on an actual running speed as what we currently have is more of a slow jog. And also at the current "run" speed in reality it is possible to have your weapon pointing in the direction you are going instead of dead at the ground or off to the side making watching where you are going in the dark impossible. Love how the AI can hip fire head shots while running from close up to 50+ yards out while mine constantly go off to the side every single time even while standing still

Its really fun. It has its very annoying issues but they claim to be working on it and adding some great stuff but some of it is very annoying.

I had it for a few weeks a while back and never got an invite. Uninstalled it because it sucks with a controller and had major issues but came back after the December "fix". It plays way better and the game atmosphere has forced me to learn keyboard and mouse. I am still fumbling the keys some at critical moments but I am enjoying it. Its in my top 3 game rotation

I think that has to do with decembers update to help it run better. They are probably trying to optimize it the best they can. I know you have to have a really crack coding team to work all the tricks and magic to really to it well

Versus has been my favourite gamemode so far, although TDM is enjoyable for the quick dopamine release

I came in here to find out details regarding what happened to the Forest map, I'm a little sad to see the one map I was the most interested in (and bought this game for) is not available. 🙁 I have my fingers crossed that we'll see something "war" inspired to put it lightly, because guerrilla warfare can be very fun

This game also has great potential to have some sort of milsim gamemode, and I believe Versus is the closest gamemode that is provided tbh
