Dude I tell you what though other than than the weird grain and bland color schemes (my opinion) when I'm not crashing the balancing of the frame rate is pretty fuckin good. When I dont crash. After like 5 or more immediate crashes the game is less likely to crash mid match, but still too frequent. I bet its a shader thing. Its always a shader thing with UE5

Only place it drops for me at 4K is by the bushes and foliage around the building as expected. I’m still hitting 58-65 fps and I don’t really find myself in there much yet. I bet they could eliminate some of it and place one of tarps vehicles in around the map to increase performance.

Zombie stuff must be a generational thing...I am too old to get it. @hardy vector the CQB map on Hardpoint is super fun, like playing a regular large capture the flag map in other FPS games. With the peak player count pretty high it would be cool to have more med large maps. Would just need some heavy optimization as we can see here with CQB.

Im loving the new zombie map, its definitely a step in the right direction as well as refreshing. Youre not stuck in a cramped house running in circles, but youre outside exploring. On top of it all, the day/night cycle is awesome. I definitely am hoping for more maps that are outdoors/visually pleasing.

@river root a note in the footstep audio, it seems that it has sort a of a 3D audio effect, as if your foot steps trail you as you move around...makes it seem like someone is chasing you. It seems aligned correctly but pans L and R as you move around. In the project I am working on we had a similar issue and it was terrible for players for there situational awareness, so the audio guys reverted it to 2D sound for 1st person. Seems to be the issue here as well as being tooooo loud.

Setting Post Processing to the lowest settings makes the frame a bit brighter and you can see all the details of the weapons, so no depth of field. Pretty cool. Seems to clean up the picture as well

This is fricking terrible, what a horrible setting to mandate. These types of poor decisions are why people stop playing games. This introduces a mechanic that completely changes how you operate the character particularly in scenerious where you need to move quick like duck, jump, run, backup, etc At least offer a toggle in the bindings FFS.

Its bad on start up within a min or on menu multiple times. Once a few crashes happen I may not see another crash for 2-3 matches. But every time I fire it up. Same.
