100 level labyrinth.
50 or so small rooms for every level is auto generated. we do that but for every level, but each level has a different set of rooms. so it’s randomized every time you go in. (OR we can go the SAO route and make each level 1 big massive area doesn’t matter)
but every level is a type. Forest, rocky type. and each enemy is that type also.
Every level has a boss fight (at the end or we can have it so every 10 levels or whatever). Every 5 levels is a checkpoint where you can go to a town. (this can be changed). Map endings – Truman Show, hiding small hints of surveillance system over the maps.
No game pass. Boss levels every 5/10 levels. boss levels don’t always need a boss, challenge levels.
DMG system will be “realistic” where you don’t necessarily upgrade your armor and weapons but you learn new spells and such and you can beat harder foes.
Level lock wouldn’t be a thing I think.
I’m not even keen on the idea of gear having levels, just the enemy and players.
