What GPU are you running.

1. Try verifying files through steam.
2. Find and delete the SystemConfig.json file then reopen the game. It will recreate the file to default settings....if its a settings issue it may fix it.
3. Uninstall. Find the bodycam folder in the Steam>Steamapps>common folder and delete it. Then reinstall the game.
   These are all basically extreme options if its not a settings issue.

that's a pretty odd build that you have, i have no clue if 5.5 would fix, but i'd try to go to your appdata/local/bodycam and delete the save folder

also, you could try -dx11 as a launch option, maybe your gpu is behaving weird with dx12 (which is the default)

Since they are testing weapons at a firing range, it could indicate that they will change how much each weapon kicks to be more realistic because right now there is not much of a recoil that you can't handle. While in real life as you see the videos of the devs shooting with a vector (i guess) you see how much his body moves when firing

What surprises me a lot is that he hasn’t apologized to everyone.

Just install reshade it's gonna open something, select bodycam win 64 or go to your disk where U installed bodycam into, go to steam apps,common, then just find bodycam and select. After that press next. Then it's gonna show u smth ignore it jus press next. Then you're gonna see a checklist. On top there's gonna be a "uncheck all" press that and then press "check all" and when it's done hop onto bodycam and wait for it to load. Once it loaded press the home key and there's gonna be a menu

You have to change the Steam Voice input keybind to exactly the same mic output and keybind. I would set it to push to talk.
Crank your mic out put all the way up. And the voice volume up too.
In Bodycam Audio settings crank voice volumes all the way up. The 3rd option is a noise suppressor of sorts, so keep it all the way down not to limit the audio signal it receives from your mic. The higher you put that slider the less sensitive the mic is and will cut off your voice.
Even then, the voice chat is shit proximity voice in this game, and really should be a voice channel per team, proximity should really be a secondary communication feature.

Imo it's most realistic. If I were to be communicating over a radio behind enemy lines for example, Then yeah they should hear me if i'm loud asf. It's not like a Metal Gear Solid Game or even Rising with an implanted codec and nano-machines son.

There's no telekinetic radio comm system as far as I'm aware when it comes to IRL things. Bodycam trying to be a Realistic Game > It makes sense that other players friendly or not, would be able to hear you communicating to your squad/team.

Especially in a firefight.

Squad is another game that does what Bodycam does for VOIP. ANYONE can hear you if you're close enough. It's realistic and imo it's proper and it makes for HILARIOUS moments as-well.

Devs - why the fuck are you slow balling this update? You don't need to release a game-changing update with 500 new features. They'll be no point when you have an average player base of less than 300 at this point. Why not start small with a couple new guns, maybe a few varied attachments, and a couple of minor performance updates? You're going to get bogged down in perfection and kill the whole game
