You can remove the bloom from the bright outside glare and lens flare effects by modifying the .json file. You get just a red dot no glare, and less annoying sun blasting through windows. Devs should make all these settings available in the Video settings some day

im sick of the bots honestly. it was cool at first, but now just about every single lobby you see has bots turned on. the worst part is, they have aimbot, and if you have a decent kdr, they become like pros who started playing since the first ever playtest (the 2023 one).

not to mention how much of an unfair advantage they have when you round a corner with one, they fire and aim the second you pop into view because for some reason, they dont have the ads delay or a hipfire delay, its just one tap straight to your chest

I play on a Ryzen 7 5800xt, 1080ti, 16gb ram.
Mostly low settings but texture and post processing I run at max. I use FSR at low. I also adjust the config .json file to remove some unwanted lighting stuff. I get 55-75 fps. You can remove the Bloom and Lense Flare in the systemconfig.json file....it really should be an in game setting eventually. Most games allow you to remove these items or lower them.

Open your file explorer. In the navigation bar type in %localappdata%
Open: Bodycam>Saved>Saved games>SystemConfig
In the txt look for "BloomQuality" and change to "0", find "LensflareQuality" and change to "0". Save.
No more washed out lighting or lenses flare effects.

Damn been looking up info on their road map and they have a ton of things they are working on for this update, seems like major major changes in certain aspects of gameplay and UI. On top of all the work they need to put into performance optimization. Geez....this takes tons of time and work. 2 plus a few more devs is really stretching thin. So much to do. I hope the best for this team.

Reality, being on the side of development like I am for another project in UE5, seems like you are rebuilding tons of stuff @abstract osprey That is hard tedious work, adding new elements is just time consuming. If only some of the people that feel jaded by the slow down of updates could be on the other side and really see what is up. Again keep it up.

There is no cut and paste, flip a switch, change some textures, add a gun, move a hand, easy fix lol.

i mean that with the lack of content the gameplay has felt very repetitive and severely lacking. zombies was fun for a while until i explored literally every inch of the map. and yes it was much better optimized in the early days for sure, but at the same time some maps have been revamped since then. even then, the revamped maps werent performing bad until the last few updates. i might be wrong on that last part tho.

a performance update is what's really needed to drop a fix to the "great" optimisation update, with the game on sale still i'd be disappointed if i only now just brought the game to find out that it was broken, i feel looking on fixing the performance issues first and pushing some fixes out soon as possible would be top priority, i mean imagine if its all fixed but they wanna drop a update next month because they wanna add a bunch of stuff in? i expect most want to play the game now then wait for updates months down the line, i do some code work my self and i understand how hard things are etc, but didnt they higher a team to help with optimisations?, a heavy hit after they messed things up, be great if we could just roll back to a different version of the game they had as backup incase something like this happened

what gave me a temp fix is deleting the cache for bodycam in local app data and i also disabled nvidia overlay in the nvidia app got me from 15fps to around 40/50fps
