Unrecord stirred up a lot of popularity after its “trailer” dropped. The game stood out because it looked nearly photorealistic by using the perspective of a worn body cam with the DVR footage look and feel to go along with it. The enemies in the game all had their faces blurred out. There was no hud. Hipfire aiming was detached from the camera. Everything about it looked uniquely realistic. Then bodycam came out and at first glance it looked almost identical the unrecord. You’re claiming I’m using low iq logic yet you can’t see the similarities? You can absolutely rip off another game that is unreleased, it’s literally happened before. Bodycam was released in such a shitty state it was blatantly obvious that it was cobbled together and rushed out the door. Even over a year later, this game is still littered with game breaking bugs. What a weird hill to die on

Regarding FPS, I noticed an interesting thing, I’m usually cruising around 60-70, actual in-game highly depends on the lobby I’m in, which we already know, but when FPS drops on some maps, I go into settings and change DLSS from let’s say “performance” to “ultra performance “ or the other way around, doesn’t matter, it seems like this change releases allocated VRAM and FPS goes back to normal, you can notice smoother gameplay right away.

There's no way to proof rage quit, they will just say the game had crashed or they had a fire in house

But I have a relatively low-mid range computer (i5-12400 6 core, Intel Arc A750 8GB). And I'm on Linux.

But it is working, not crashing. So I'm not gonna refund.

But I find turning down my settings barely makes any difference to performance. Is there a bug with the graphics settings? Do other people find lower settings don't do anything?

The specs for your pc are lower than minimum spec requirements to play the game unfortunately. FORTUNATELY though we are going to be rolling out an update that covers a broader range of optimization.

FOR NOW: if you’d still like to enjoy BodyCam until then, what I recommend is simply lowering the resolution in your settings (In game)
Turning down foliage from epic to high can definitely help your pc out while playing

I just wanna clarify, I did crank all the settings down to their lowest. I went from like 25 fps to 30 fps in the menu. But in heavier multiplayer matches (more players) it really becomes unplayable.

I'm able to get more by dropping the whole monitor resolution to 540p. But the render resolution option does not do anything for performance. Even with the low resolution I find with more players in a match it becomes pretty hard to play.

I am on an intel Arc GPU, and AMD FSR settings don't seem to help much either.

I am hoping to upgrade my GPU this year, but don't want to have to upgrade the CPU. Do we think the game would run on my i5-12400 with a better GPU?

The A750 is performing very well. 8GB, enough for now... not for long

There used to be issues with specific Unreal Engine 5 games on Intel GPUs on Linux. But that's been patched.
Outside of that occasionally I run into issues with games. But it's quite rare.

Bodycam never used to boot but now it runs correctly and doesn't crash. It's just a bit underpowered for it.

Outside of that I have no issues with the A750, but I'm waiting on Intel's next GPUs C-series.

8GB will still limit you at 1080p for some of the more demanding games. And some games struggle to crunch their assets down for 8GB (resolution doesn't 100% effect asset size).

But 8GB should handle 1080 for everything except the most demanding games. Those games might still be fine just like 30 fps

Just wanna say to any devs after looking at the dev leaks and playing alot recently. Y’all boys are cooking. Everything looks great. Wondering what the new game mode will be like and if you guys are considering changing how you join games via servers. Always a lot of servers with 1 to 3 players in them at the bottom of the server list. A mode selection with matchmaking could help this. Also wondering about a competitive mode. Its a cosmetic choice that makes no sense.

"To stimulate real life motion blur you encounter." But that still applies even in this case. My eyes still have motion blur on screen so you're just adding more for no reason.

"It's not as bad when you watch a screen so this is too help make it more realistic." A screen is not 1:1 for size, so motion blur will not be the same intensity, unless you're in vr.

I think the only thing capable of high fps for med-high graphics on body cam is the 4070 without performance boost mode for graphics

Are you guys going to fix the issue of not being able to load into server games without waiting 10 minues? Also fix the AI so they use flash lights its already frustrating they can see me in the dark but I cant see them. Also fix the maps so they aren't pitch black in 50% of the map area? Also fix the gun customizations because I dont want to spend $10 for one skin on one gun that I cant even choose to use ingame unless I get lucky and spawn with it? Also fix the issue of me having to host everygame to play and STILL not get any xp/rp at the end of the game? Edit also fix the zombies mode, sometime the last zombie doesnt spawn in right and you cant progress its frustrating at high levels when the whole game comes to a stop.

Prolly should check cpu output and temps to see where the processing handling is ram too I got a 4060ti i7 13700f cpu with a water radiator and like 32 gigs of ram or some like that and I be getting solid 80 max graphics without any fps boost setting as long as there’s not many assets to load like on the house map

With overclock max graphics anywhere anytime would be no problem so prolly just you my man💔🥀

The latency numbers are accurate, the speeds are only pertinent to Netflix's servers

When I had my previous ISP (Liberty Global), I'd get insane speeds as they got netflix server racks in their server room.

netflix sends out servers to isps along with storage of the most popular movies

So it sounds like to me your ISP had a contract with netflix that seems to also remove your speed cap when you're streaming because it's coming directly from your ISP instead of from netflix.

This doesnt mean an innacurate test was done, it means your ISP has granted special usage to their customers under a special circumstance.

I returned the game for now, mainly because of the bug where I always spawn without weapons in the bomb gamemode. Game has amazing potential but it does have some issues. Ive heard the bug is already fixed externally, but not pushed yet. Will 100% keep up with the development and am excited how its going to go in the future, will very likely rebuy when its more polished. Keep it up

Also praying that the Zombie mode specifically gets more content and gets expanded on as well as getting some more polish. Love any Zombie mode in general, always so much fun especially when co-op
