Okay so like, totally worth it, but also take into account it's $40 and you only get the main campaign, classic Mercenaries, and challenge Mercenaries. They never added Separate Ways nor Assignment Ada. If you're cool with that and you like the game itself, I HIGHLY recommend to at least try it, the gameplay is very well tuned.

Its the side mode where you start with a character of your liking with a weapon set you like and it sends infinite enemies your way and your goal is to get 5 stars before time is up. Think of it like Call Of Duty Zombies but like... timed.

The challenge mode in the VR version is basically the same but there's a special modifier like there's one at night with Regeneradors, one where you're chased by nothing but guys with chainsaws, you have to get all headshots with the least accurate gun in the game, that type of stuff. That mode unlocks some nifty options though like Golden Gun mode which is exactly what it sounds like.

I think shadows is weird, idk the settings seem to affect either like ONE graphical detail, or like 10 different things, like how post processing is a bunch of stuff like AO, The game atleast seems raytraced due to how the lighting is, effects changes a lot, I do wish the high amounts of bloom could be toned down just a tad, but I do understand its a bodycam PoV

On AMD 25.whatever was causing the black screen issue for me, Doing a manual uninstall/install fixed it on my end.

So what you can do is this; Idk if it will work for Nvidia but it does for AMD. You can go to the control panel > Uninstall a Program > Uninstall Nvidia Geforce Experience (whatever version you currently have). Go to the Nvidia website and put in your GPU specs on the drivers and chips download page, then just download the drivers you previously had before the newest set of drivers.

Mkae sure you download a Previous version of Nvidia Geforce Experience and then restart your PC.

How to rollback GPU drivers
Whenever you are running into GPU driver issues, it is advised to boot DDU and run it in Windows Safe Mode.

First download DDU and run it in Windows Safe Mode.
Go to this page, select your GPU model, then hit "Submit".
Look for "Previous versions" and then download and install the correct version no. which should solve the issue.

NVIDIA:
Should be noted that there's also reports of the latest NVIDIA drivers (572.70) causing issues too:

Run DDU in Windows Safe mode, then go to this page and select your GPU model.
In the next page, look for "Previous versions" and download an earlier version of the drivers (like 572.60) that are known to not cause issues.

You do NOT need DDU, you can uninstall and reinstall drivers manually.

I've had this happen to me as well, and it's super annoying when you specifically set the lobby to private, TDM, no bots. I had just bought the game for my brother, and was trying to show him the game basics, but within two minutes there was 5 or 6 other randoms that showed up in my "private" lobby. something is blocking the game from loading, most cases its the antivirus or stuff like vpns
sometimes it can be that the game is corrupted or youre missing some drivers, try the stuff in #1249560067284537447

Well I have the latest GPU drivers , I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times , I went through the How too and tried it and still hasn't worked .

personally my antivirus likes to give me an option to allow a connection and the game wont load without me accepting it

im getting alot of crashing however fps seems to be back to normal was getting 100 - 150fps max settings with no frame gen or dlss or any kind of upscaling on Rome map. Had one weird bug where i was the unreal base model avatar as my skin for some reason. (PublicBeta Branch)
