Thanks for the adice. I looked at a lot of benchmark cards and it outperforms the 4070 TI Super in native by quite a bit. In native performance, it ranks just under the 4080, and for $750 if u can find it

In some situation the 4080 super is better than the 5080 so hard to recommend the 5000 series for the moment but if it’s for a huge upgrade like the 3080 it’s worth

They want the devs to fail after they feel they have been " failed ". Im lucky, game runs great and i always have lobbies. Id say when im on theres about 80 players on all my servers. not counting the 1/10 player lobbies, thats the graveyard !

Hey all! I'm new to the game. Me and my friend want to playtogether, and we have issues.
W11, RTX 3xxx, Ryzen CPU tryed with DLSS and FSR also.
The game when we in a lobby with each other we haven't any issues. We can load Traning for example. But when we are try to load a Versus or a Duel map for example, when we are on the plane it's okay, but always after that the game exit with Fatal error all the time.
What we could do for fix? We can't play because of that.

They gave date estimates and everyone got their hopes up and ofc stuff got delayed because programming and game design is insanely complicated you can take one step forward and it actually sends you two steps backwards

Yup sadly. When this game was released, my 3080 could easily run this. I've upgraded my GPU recently and in its current state I can't even play it properly with a beefier card. I took a break from this game for now, might return if things actually get fixed.

Hey guys I really need y'all help with Bodycam

I’m getting a black screen with sound when launching Bodycam. I’m using an AMD RX 5500 XT and Intel i5-10400F. The game launches, plays sound in the background, but the screen stays black.

I checked the logs and the CEF3 log shows:
Passthrough is not supported, GL is disabled

The main Bodycam.log remains mostly empty or doesn’t show any engine errors.
I’ve already tried:
• Reinstalling drivers
• Forcing DirectX 11 (-dx11 -windowed -noborder)
• Disabling GPU passthrough for CEF (--disable-gpu --disable-gpu-compositing)
• Clearing shader cache
• Creating custom Engine.ini

Other games work fine on my system – this only happens in Bodycam.

Is this a known issue with RX 5500 XT / AMD cards? Any workaround or patch coming?

Besides my desktop I have a less powerful gaming laptop, Rog Strix 4060, AMD Ryzen 9 (don't know the exact CPU type), and half year ago I could run this game on 1080p with settings on high. The current state of the game isn't what it's supposed to be, so hard to tell. But I bet my laptop can't even run this game properly anymore at this point, there are known performance issues atm. So I don't think you'll be getting higher FPS right now on a laptop.

I'm trying to understand how coming to complain and being on the verge of blaming the devs makes things move forward. To be honest and transparent, the devs are not at all happy with the current state of the game. Nothing is going well and they are the first to see it. It's an ambitious project, a victim of its success at the beginning, which is encountering development problems so far, nothing surprising. Of course, I understand the frustration present, it's normal and it is justified, but I don't understand the problem of coming to show off on the general chat to talk about something we already know. The number 4th player currently? That plays everyday as much as possible.... doesnt play to come here and rage.....he plays because he genuinely loves the game. So after update promise after update promise, devs not responding to things which makes anyone hopeful for a update just more and more bummed out everytime.... And considering it is in beta testing, negative feedback is going to be something that happens.
Instead of insulting the player and other players because what they have been experiencing isn't what you want known or muting them (which is sus if you ask me because people looking to purchase the game for the first time will probably feel similar)
Why not try to just have better bedside manners as someone who is developing a game that isn't performing at 100% .

I assume it's still a small dev team, they don't have the staff or resources of a big studio. So it's going to take time.
Hell most games from big studios with 100's staff and millions cash release poor u optimized games. I am sure once they fix the performance issue they will move onto other things.
The UI could do with a more eye pleasing format, a proper progress system.
At the end of a match they is nothing much. Next one just starts.
Maybe have longer non time limited matches and limit respawns to so much per player in a team then it gets down to one on one or two or three against one. This would add a twist to the game.

if they knew they would just focus on 4 v 4 zombie mode and change zombie gameplay forever...im not writing it all out again lol. Actually i will - Gun room in the middle, Rd. 6 the doors open to the gun room with active zombies so for a single rd its your squad vs the other squad with zombies also, go into gun room and risk being eliminated for a round and losing gear to other team possibly ( this puts a press on and makes guns more valuable), random or marked generators open doors on enemy sides randomly making zombies come from unsuspected entries, gun room opens every 4 rounds after etc. and whatever else they want to add.

If any of you having frames dips running 1440p resolution. Try dropping res to 1080p, my game runs alot better. It seems Bodycam is not optimized for 1440p. This and I believe 32gb RAM vastly helps.
