Here's what you should do in case you get banned:

1. You should try contacting devs at #🎫┆contact-us
2. Do not use overclocking/fan-control tools while playing a multiplayer game. (MSI Afterburner and your manufacturer provided software should be fine).
3. Scan your system using sfc /scannow command to verify system integrity.
4. Some modding tools may trigger a ban by accident as they require hooking onto a game, you should make sure they're not running in the background via Task Manager.
5. You should probably uninstall any windows customization tools, that alter the kernel.

That's some good advice, thank you. I don't use modding tools other than vortex though. The only thing I can think of it being is the nvidia overlay-- THE OVERLAY WAS BUGGING OUT REALLY HARD like i've never seen before in any other game the last time i played

You should disable the nvidia overlay, but it doesn't hook onto the game unless you use something like ansel by acciedent.

Just to clarify. I do not personally believe that clip is enough to definitively say that one is cheating. While I personally have experienced a considerable performance increase on the game since the update, I have also noticed it seems I and others rubberband more severely and frequently it seems if experiencing connection issues. I do find it plausible that the player was lagging / experiencing desync to the point that the player was actually outside the building on menace screen. If that is further being corroborated by a witness who actually has more of a connection to the accuser than the accused I personally think that leans towards it not really being conclusive enough to permanantly ban someone without further evidence.

I would think where professor sees the player would be where that players hitbox should be as far as the server is concerned. But I am purely speculating at that point. Optimisation is currently not how it should be, they're working on a fix but we don't know when it'll be released. It's actually a fun game, if it works. Right now, I wouldn't personally recommend it, especially if your pc isn't more towards the high-end. But even high-end rigs are having issues to run this game atm.

It depends on what system you’re running. Typically you’re gonna want a minimum mid to high end pc. And unfortunately you bought the game at the wrong time. They made changes to the shaders and everyone is struggling with frames. Even me with a 4090. They are currently working on it and hopefully should be running smooth again soon

Generally speaking not yet but you can try performance enhancing mods or overclocking ur system. Some people I’ve spoken to said that the open beta of the game runs smoother but I haven’t tested that.

tbf the game is 30 USD?? without the greatest regional pricing and is in an arguably barley functional state. Leaving much of the community disappointed and understandably frustrated after paying a high price for an EA game(especially outside of US) that is missing a lot of basic features that would warrant it's cost.

Especially considering there are plethora of EA shooters and games out for the price with working anti cheat, perfomance, and strong communties

but yeah threatning a lawsuit from Brazil is a bit much

So, I mean given the circumstances I think the players are understandably frustrated and player numbers reflect that
