Apparently not, end of the month they're hopeful of a release.

The obvious issues are probably easier to fix, but the larger issues like performance is going to take some doing, bare in mind that there are large companies who have struggled to optimise UE5 beyond what they initially released, silent hill 2 case in point, it runs like a dead dog on most hardware and that's due to UE5 not the dev's diligence.

I'm happy with the info I received today and although it's not iron clad it is better than what was originally announced, we can all piss and moan but it won't change anything, all we're showing the devs is that the natives are restless.

From the dev's perspective they released the last update and it bugged the game out worse than it was previously, they simply cannot afford to do that again so I'm not surprised it's taking so long.

We've all waited this long so lets see what happens.

Only thing i would suggest to the devs would be to identify the next update as a beta and to advise end users to expect issues, that way it manages peoples expectations and we're not disappointed.

Also a live tracker stating what is fixed and what is being worked upon, even a partial update to fix the easier stuff would make sense to me, that way end users can identify progress which will create a buzz.

the only bugs i have are ping issues and lag because there are rarely ever NA servers

I had to go in and custom tune pretty much every single display and graphic setting to help with a lot of the lag

You’re gonna have to customize a lot of ur display and graphic settings in game to fix the lag, performance, and quality issues

I can DM you my settings but I doubt it’ll be very helpful as everyone has different hardware

Anyone else having those sorts of issues I recommend sitting in the training range and just go thru trial and error to get everything just right

Idk I never had performance and quality issues before the update but that’s prob due to me having a newer PC
Took me roughly 20 minutes to get everything running better

If you have a higher FPS variation i definitely recommend locking it, temporal anti aliasing was causing me some minor performance problems. I switched it off and changed some of my HDR and color settings along with motion blur and it fixed the ADS weapon looking grainy issue

Also make sure the display matches whatever your native monitor resolution is set to, sometimes you’ll get a bug where all the UI prompts get moved and you get soft locked out of changing settings. All you gotta do then is temporary artificially upscale the monitor resolution, the game display window will be super tiny and that’ll allow you to bring it back to native and you can switch the monitor display setting back to native

since i upgraded my GPU, most maps run perfectly without FSR or frame gen, it's only worn house and russian that require them for me, but unless you're throwing 900-1000+ pound at a GPU then it's going to struggle..
What is weird for me is the fact that even without the game running in game, your gpu is still getting lit up

Yeah I have to say the new rank system isn’t my favorite, mostly because I run TDM/gun game the solo game modes. Every time I play the team based ones I’ll go >2.5KD meanwhile my team is mostly negative and we end up losing

Yeah the AFK and TK issues will prob still be pretty prevalent til they end up implementing an anti cheat, even just a really basic one.
I’d rather they take their time with anti cheat, I have zero experience in programming and game development but if they could cook up an in house anti cheat that would be lovely. Easy anti cheat and VAC obviously don’t have the best track record

The hitboxes can be super weird.

Depends, if I have a few players in and I run Airsoft, paintball, bonjour, then attempt hospital or Rome, then it'll crash and end the room.

I don't tend to use worn house or russian, BUT @gleaming violet hosted yesterday and he did go on wornhouse, worked fine with FSR on, plus we just kept getting people in and it didn't crash once, was excellent.

Lot of severe camping and hitbox issues but beyond that it worked as expected.

You’re only getting good fps because it’s your lobby, the dx11 command isn’t what’s helping lol.

If you host and play bots your FPS will still be decent, it’s when players join is when it goes down.

wait for the game to build a good foundation first because if they don't make it, you will dwell on its disappearance. I'm trying to do the same with Gray Zone. I played quite a bit but I'm not recommending the game yet since the performance is kinda mid if you don't have the latest and greatest. Having a 3080 should be like baseline for all games right now with newer hardware giving you extra visual fidelity and performance on top of that baseline.
