it's not a legitimate play style, the idea that zombies spawn only in specific points and one at a time is a lazy mechanic and forces all players to eventually play a game of camping in key positions for zombie trails. It really is an easy fix to make the game more accurate in the portrayal of a zombie horde and also make it more challenging. The idea of handicapping yourself to make it more challenging is weird and takes pressure off the game actually becoming better.

I think it depends on what the vision of the developers is. If they want people to move, for it to be an actual challenge with a dynamic environment, they will introduce horde and spawn changes. I think the developers want to see a play style that leaves the player consistently engaging in a new environment with movement around the asylum. If the developers really wanted a camping play style, they would have made a smaller map and funnel all the zombies to the front.

And his GPU memory was at its limit. So I turned off Xbox Game Bar recording for Indiana Jones and he went up to 74 average fps on medium preset, lol. But yeah. High preset on 8GB cards with or without GPU acceleration in web views on Steam and Game Bar recording, results in below 40 fps as the game runs out of memory it can utilize

I run a 4060ti 8gb (don’t judge, my first pc) with in game fps set to on -quality. I hit 140 fps @ 1440. I know it isn’t the highest setting but I was able to get a beginner rig from zotac or something for $750. Ryzen 5 7600 asrock 650 ddr5 so idk figured it was a decent grab 😭. Anyways I have tried other games but I’d just play my kids console for other releases. Basically this game, for me, is the only reason to get a pc lol. I don’t do rpg etc so…. Depends on the map and how you are using the tactic of not running around wildly. I’d say if you are spawn camping then it’s a problem. If you are on airsoft map and I can shoot through the walls then nah.

I haven’t played the outdoors map yet and I don’t think camping is a problem in open terrain.

yes im on 4K. The pool map in the red hallway stutters my game and i get 35 frames around then. On worn house i get tops like 60 fps. i dont think its a pc issue
