you can run it, I know people who were playing competitive at like 40 frames lol

hmmm well there is definitely a corrupted file. I feel like the verifying should have fixed that

these next ones might be silly but, your running steam as a admin? and also maybe check the antivirus settings maybe something is getting blocked.

i had to go to steamapps properties and replace all child object permission entries. I also change some security settings using gpedit from the command prompt. I have the exact reddit post i followed posted in bug report

This game doesn't really have strategy or gamemode elements, it's pretty much just hearing footsteps and shooting well

There isn't really ever gonna be a feeling of outplaying, pretty much just knowing angles and materials
