I'm assuming it's the fact forest is very resource intensive like rig used to be. You can struggle to get 60 fps with high settings on an amazing pc.

Plus forest was very very hard to play. No clear borders meant it was a hard map to learn the layout of and with the trees and dark dusklight it was just ass to play. You can never see anyone.
