Have you guys noticed that for no reason at all, performance drops after 20 minutes of gameplay?

you lose 2 to 3 fps

sitting in the same spot during the same weather

only 1 player in the lobby

I have 24GBs of GPU memory, so this shouldn't be memory related

never had that happen to me personally

looks very odd and weird

basically, and I saw this happen for mods in the server as well, the clouds have very noticeable red spot artifacting

There's no way this is meant to be because I'm not getting this

Aside from this, there's also the usual UE5 ghosting trail effect on gun models as they interact with light on pretty much all AA options

the most noticeable being with TAA

the least noticeable being with TSR

And there's something up with Lumen cache size because I see Lumen is struggling to calculate lighting fast enough when sprinting through doorways

Call of Duty is a no way. It runs 70 fps worse on Steam than Battlenet, it's full of cheaters, and crashes frequently even on top hardware

Star Citizen as well if you can endure 20k bugs and glitches

The Just Cause series doesn't have a difficulty selection option

Just Cause 1 and 2 are harder, but 3 and 4 are dead easy

Dead Rising is also an ultra amazing chill game to play and have fun in

The fps drop is actually insane

According to the benchmark mw3 was able to give me 306fps max on the cpu side now on bo6 its 193 max

Since actual games are more intensive I switched to very low upscaling and on quarry I could get 230-270fps on 10v10 mode in mw3 and bo6 is anywhere between 130-200fps on nuketown

I never find cheaters but I dont play ranked mode especially after finding out it has the same sbmm as normal multiplayer so its basically rigged

Stalker 2 in the towns is 55-60fps at basically max settings but using dlss quality

Tumblewood on this game I cant even imagine 60 fps on the max settings even with fsr quality

everyone do yourself a favor and drop this game. Devs put out the worst updates and do nothing but take steps backwards. Still no fix for fatal errors, still no fix lobby issues, still no fix for rookies, and we are still dealing with bugs that have been around since the game launched. either use the money youve made off our dumbasses on the game or give us our money back . youd think with something as original as Bodycam they wouldnt start stealing the worst ideas from other games that are failing but here we are. I mostly use laser when I’m playing zombies. Sometimes I’ll have it on for PVP when I know shit is about to hit the fan and there’s no point in hiding any more. Other than that I feel like it’s too much of a give away

Oh yeah I’m well aware. I have an astigmatism so I’ve always tended to prefer green dots and green lasers in real life. Even though yeah it is brighter and what not it just doesn’t give me as much of a lens flare effect as red light sources do

Not the devs fault though. Unreal Engine 5 is very restrictive and forces Lumen GI if you want to have proper Lumen reflections. It also forces virtual shadow maps, which bug out if you make optimized LODs for the meshes

They seem to want to force every single dev to use Nanite, which doesn't fix the LOD issue

and in every single scenario possible, unless you abuse polygon counts, leads to reduced performance

than if you were to just use optimized LODs

nanite looks cool from what ive seen but it does seem like they are pushing for that to used in all indie style games

should be plenty of options

The thing is, Nanite is a lie

Its main purpose is to fix LODs popping in and out on meshes as you move closer and further away from objects

but it doesn't do that at all and also causes worse performance

than if you were to just not use Nanite

The only way to benefit from Nanite is if you abuse poly counts and create assets made out of millions of polygons

you'll be getting 100 fps on every map

Actually, it's 100 fps with RX 7600/RTX 4060. Your 3060TI is better. You'll probably average 120 fps

on every single map

this is if you want to play competitively, of course. Image quality won't be destroyed

but the edges of your screen will have frame generation artefacting

which means when you move extremely fast in game, the far edge of your monitor will be of a slightly different color
