In the games current state, it is fun to play, and yes, it is regularly populated enough to sustain long sessions if you'd like. Since it is still in development, and the team is working on expanding their workforce, this game has a really promising future.

The cons you're going to have to accept are: Occasionally laggy host, hit detection is very scuffed at times, and the game isn't super optimized. If you can accept that it's gonna be a long ride before this game finds it's full potential, then yes.

The downside to dedicated servers is if they decide to shut the game down (like with Blacklight Retribution), thats it, no more being able to play, but as an example, the Playstation version of Blacklight Retribution is p2p (peer to peer/player hosted), so the game can still be played on that platform. The obvious downside to player hosted games in Bodycam, is there's no host migration, and if the host quits, everyone in the lobby gets booted. Personally I ALWAYS finish a game when I'm hosting (win or lose) so if you see my TDM lobby, I will play to the end.👍

All the content I saw looked photo-realistic, but my own experience is extremely grainy and flickery? Does anyone else experience this also and if so, were there any settings to solve this?
